10 years is a huge milestone for a SA-MP community. We have experienced a lot over the years, especially those who have been here for many years knows what I'm talking about, good and bad things, but mostly good. People changes, admins changes, that's just life. XGS has had a eventful 10 years, if you know what I mean. I personally think I have seen everything (or almost) which you can see in a SA-MP community, you may disagree, but still. I have learnt a lot.
We all know what's the current situation of XGS and SA-MP in general, SA-MP is getting dead, players are leaving, SA-MP website, forum and hosted tab are taken down long time ago, but SA-MP is still running which is a good thing, but none of us knows the future of SA-MP. Luckily, there is Open-MP to continue the multiplayer experience in GTA San Andreas, if/when SA-MP gets taken down.
XGS's current situation looks very bad; like you know, the server is empty most of times, many players and admins have left SA-MP. But despite that XGS is very inactive at the moment, it's really nice to see that some of you guys Still like to play at XGS. It means a lot to me.
About promotions, due to the prevailing situation of XGS, from now on, getting promoted will be
a lot easier than before. It's not determined that how long one needs to have been registered to be to get VIP level 1. You can see the promoted people below. If you think that you deserve promotion, or know someone who does, you can let me know (in public or Private, your choice) and I will inspect it.
